Candle Waxes    
  There are several kinds of candle waxes; Soy, Paraffin, Palm, Beeswax and Gel are common.

Soy is good because it is easy eco-friendly. It's mostly grown here in America.
It's somewhat soft and should be used in containers with larger wicks.
You could use hardeners to stiffen it up.

Paraffin is the most commonly used wax. It's made from petroleum and is very common.
It comes in big chucks or slabs and you break it up when you're ready to use it.
Paraffin can be purchase colorless or colored. You can add colors of your choose to the clear wax.

Palm wax;

Beeswax is made by bees. it has a natural scent and you seldom add fragrance to it.
This wax is sticky and has a low melting point.
